Dreams can be big, dreams can be small.
Dreams can be teeny, dreams can be tall.
You can dream about flying, or tigers, or caves.
You can dream about sailing, way out in the waves.
You can dream about building or leading others down paths.
You can even dream about cooking, or teaching kids math.
Fashion or finance, woodworking or whales.
The dream world is your oyster, my love. (Even if you choose sales.)
So dream those detailed dreams, don’t ever give up.
Dream dream dream dream, until your mind is made up.
You and your dreams; you won’t ever part.
Cherish them and keep them, close to your heart.
You can dream about mountains, or anything you’d like.
Baseball bats or bulldozers, barbeques or bikes.
Dream big dreams, little one. Dream all the time.
Remember I once dreamt for you, after all, and now you are mine.
Dreams can be big, dreams can be small.
Dreams can be teeny, dreams can be tall.
My dream for you is for you to dream.
And the only way they won’t come true, my love…is if you don’t dream at all.
