Glad you like that little nugget, but honestly I can only take credit for the way it was phrased, otherwise its Don Clifton's concept :) Speaking of, Don Clifton is also the person who developed the Gallup Strengths Finder assessment and wrote the books Now, Discover your stregth and Stregths finder 2.0… Also great!

I struggle with acting positive, but I know I should. It's been proven that positive interactions have a profound and remarkable impact on us and others. I didn't really have any understanding of how important positive interaction were until I read Dr Don Clifton's book, How Full Is Your Bucket? I wrote a short 15 years ago for Entrepreneurs of Tulsa newsletter titled, "ACTION is REALITY."
When we actually take an ACTION,,, we achieve RESULTS. Maybe what we expected, and maybe NOT. Regardless, we take further action.... and each time, learn SOMETHING new.
My favorite bill board sign said, "YOUR ACTIONS SPEAK SO LOUD, that I can't hear what you are saying." Love it!

And the one for parents:
Children will do what you DO; not what you say.
